"Gli Angeletti: a surprisingly pleasant find in a very touristy area near the Forum. From the outside, you might expect just another typical tourist spot, but this place genuinely stands out in a positive way. First of all, it’s definitely not a tourist trap. The prices are fair, especially considering the location, and the food feels honest and well-prepared rather than rushed or generic. The staff seemed a bit nervous at times, likely because it was quite busy, but they were still friendly and attentive. What really made a difference was the manager (or owner), who remained calm, welcoming, and genuinely kind throughout the service. That kind of presence sets the tone and makes guests feel at ease. The pasta was exactly what you hope for in Italy: simple, authentic, and full of flavor without trying too hard. It felt like proper, honest cooking rather than something overly commercial. On top of that, the terrace is very cozy and inviting, perfect for sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying the atmosphere of the city. All in all, a great experience and a place I’d happily return to when in the area."

"We ended up visiting this restaurant on three out of five evenings during our stay – and that alone already says everything. The food was absolutely phenomenal. Both the pasta dishes and the lasagna were incredibly flavorful and clearly made with a lot of care and quality ingredients. A special highlight was the tiramisu – hands down the best in the city. Rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced – we’re still thinking about it. If you’re looking for delicious food, a cozy atmosphere, and truly heartfelt hospitality, this place is an absolute must. We will definitely miss our evenings there!"

"I don’t understand why some people complain about everything. This Restaurant is simply beautiful. Small but big enough. Friendly staff, it felt so welcoming. We are not Italians but we felt at home in there. It was such a lovely experience to dine after a long day. My 6 years old had pasta and she loved it. We had steak and it was absolutely delicious! Honestly, for someone looking for a good relaxing evening with good food and friendly staff, look no further than this place!"
